Goldsmith Mertens, in the Media...

The passion for goldsmithing started with us from childhood. When I was little I was very happy to help my father in the Workshop.
We learned the art and skills of goldsmithing at a very young age, Thierry Mertens testifies.

We have been active as a goldsmith shop since 1880, starting with the fifth generation: Gauthier Mertens.

We mainly restore art, gold and silver objects, but also all kinds of other types of metals.
You can also contact us for making your own creations according to a plan or drawing.

The magical thing about our work?
When we have completely restored, polished, and polished a beautiful piece and are allowed to return it to the customer.
The customer usually does not believe his eyes and this ensures a moment of happiness every time.
A magical moment!

We can restore everything from antique or modern art in all kinds of metals to its original state,
or better yet: with a layer of silver or gold on it.

We are also available for valuation and possible purchase or sale of collection items.

Since we have been continuously elected as the Royal Warrant Holder of Belgium since 2007, and we receive customers from the Netherlands, France, Germany and Luxembourg,
you can rest assured that your objects are in good hands.
